Pastor Russell Miles is the Senior Pastor of New Hope Freedom and Deliverance Cathedral in Louisburg, NC.\u00a0 He has been the Senior Pastor since 2019.\u00a0 Archbishop Lorenzo N. Peterson, the founder of New Hope Freedom and Deliverance Cathedral, appointed him to the pastoral position.\u00a0 Before becoming a pastor at Freedom & Deliverance, he served 14 years as a minister, elder, and associate pastor under Archbishop Peterson.\u00a0 Pastor Miles attended East Carolina University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary English Education. He taught English for three years as a middle school and high school teacher.\u00a0 In 1994, he moved to Charlotte, NC, where he attended Victory Christian Center under the pastorship of the late Pastor Robyn Gool.\u00a0 He began working in libraries in Charlotte, which led him to his current position with the NC Legislative Library in Raleigh, NC.\u00a0 While working at the Legislative Library, he earned a master\u2019s degree in library science. Pastor Miles is committed to teaching Kingdom principles that allow everyone to live a victorious Kingdom life.
